Strawberry Cream Pie

My new favorite dessert! A cream pie… A Strawberry Cream Pie! This is simple to make. It is a frozen, no-bake dessert that is lighter than cheesecake, but is dense like ice-cream cake. Once you make this, you won’t believe how easy it is to make.

Homemade Whipped Cream + Fresh Strawberries + Salus Organic Red Beet Crystals is my secret for an amazing strawberry cream pie.

I used a classic graham cracker crust; however another crust or a store bought crust would work just fine.

If you want to indulge in this dessert before frozen, it makes a great strawberries & cream treat! Luckily I had plenty left over that did not fit into my pie crust that I ate in a bowl and more for a mini pie.

Tips….

  • I like to use a stand mixer (Kitchen Aid) for making whipped cream. A high speed mixer will make nice fluffy peaks of whipped cream in less time.

  • You can save some of the whipped cream to add on top or use for another time.

  • I set the metal mixing bowl for my stand mixer in the freezer. The cold helps create the whipped cream together and not melt too quickly after making.

  • There may be extra filling that doesn’t fit into the pie dish. You can eat this for a fresh strawberry & cream dessert or pour it in a smaller dish or container to freeze to eat later.

  • You can bake your crust if you prefer a denser, crunchy crust. Bake on 350 degrees for 8 minutes.

  • Use a pie dish or a cheesecake pan.

  • Adding a dose of Salus Organic Red Beet Crystals adds extra nutrition, and helps create a deeper hue for your strawberry pie. If you do not have the recommended amount of Strawberries or want a darker color pie, you can always add these beet crystals.
